Team Rocket has invaded Pokemon go and if you have played the game recently then you might have noticed that Team Rocket grunts appear in balloons from time to time. In this Pokemon Go guide, we are going to go over counters for Giovanni and how you can beat the Team Rocket boss.
In order to beat Giovanni, you need to find him first. In order to do that, you must first find and defeat Team Rocket grunts. Once you have beaten the grunts you need to defeat each of the Team Rocket Leaders, Arlo, Cliff and Sierra. You only need to beat them once.
Completing this step will get you the Super Rocket Radar which will help you locate Giovanni. The catch here is that a number of grunts are going to be disguised as Giovanni. They will try to stop you from getting to the boss and keep him hidden for as long as possible.
You can spin the Pokestops the figure out whether you will encounter the real boss or just a grunt. Giovanni can also come to you on a balloon, like the other Team Rocket members.
