Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl National Pokedex
National Pokedex in Pokemon BDSP allows the player to come across Pokemon belonging to earlier generations while in the Grand Underground.
In order to get the National Pokedex, the player needs to complete the Sinnoh Pokedex. This is done once the player has encountered all 151 Pokemon in the region. One thing to note here is that it can take a lot of time to do so. Once that is done, head over to Professor Oak at Pal Park – he will upgrade the Pokedex with the National Mode.
Another thing to note is there is no need to catch all the Pokemon – just encountering them should do the trick. A really good trick to achieve this is to use the PokeRadar.
Once the player has acquired the National Pokedex, he/she will begin encountering Pokemon belonging to Gen. 1-to-4 in the Grand Underground. However, do note that it can only be done once the campaign is completed.
