Elden Ring by default does not support the 21:9 aspect ratio and sticks to the 16:9 ratio even when playing on an ultrawide monitor. So you will be limited to the middle of the screen. In this Elden Ring guide, we are going to cover how you can play the game on a 21:9 aspect ratio ultrawide monitor.

Playing Elden Ring On An Ultrawide Monitor

Elden Ring does not support ultrawide monitors officially but on PC you can use mods in order to run the game on a 21:9 aspect ratio monitor. You can download uberhalit’s version from GitHub. You can also download Ultrawide UI Fixes from Dziggy on Nexus Mods.

The UI Fixes from Dziggy not only let you play the game properly on a 21:9 aspect ratio ultrawide monitor but it also allows you to reposition HUD elements in order to take full advantage of the additional screen real estate that you get.

The mod also fixes loading screens and cutscene transitions and gets rid of the flickering that some users may have faced when playing Elden Ring on ultrawide monitors. Installing the mod should increase your immersion and gaming experience.

This is how you can play Elden Ring on ultrawide monitors. If you are facing other issues then you can check out our Elden Ring errors guide. 1. Keep in mind, if you do intend to play the game with these mods installed, you cannot do multiplayer or online. Strictly offline. Seems like the PC version was just an after-thought.
