After Ashley has been rescued from the church, you can make it off the island, but before you do that, you need to defeat the final boss in Resident Evil 4 Remake, Osmund Saddler. This boss mutates into a mutant beast and can be rather challenging to deal with. In this Resident Evil 4 Remake guide, we go over how you can defeat Osmund Saddler, the final boss.

Beating Osmund Saddler In Resident Evil 4 Remake

The boss fight has two phases, and the best way of dealing with the first phase is by using a rocket launcher. You can buy this from the Merchant for 50,000-160,000 Pesos, depending on the difficulty setting you selected. While this is a lot of money, it is worth the investment since it deals a lot of damage.

If you do not want to use the rocket launcher, then you need to attack Saddler’s eyes. Once the encounter with the boss starts, he jumps close to an explosive barrel which you can hit to deal damage. The explosion will also stun the boss for a few seconds.

Saddler has three eyes, and you need to hit all of them. You will need to move around in order to target all three. You should not get too close, though, since the boss has a stomp attack that can deal a lot of damage. Go for the eyes on the sides first, and then you can attack the main one. You will need to repeat this process until you trigger the second phase of the boss battle with Osmund Saddler in Resident Evil 4 Remake.

Second Phase

In the second phase of the battle, the boss does look terrifying, but this is actually a bit easier than the first phase. What you need to do is dodge the tentacle attacks and evade the slam attacks by moving to the left or right. While you can deal some damage in this phase of the battle, you can simply evade incoming attacks and wait for Ada. She will give you a special rocket launcher which you will use to kill Osmund Saddler.
