Hand-held gaming PCs are getting very popular, and the Steam deck is getting stiff competition. ONEXPLAYER has been on the market for a while now, and ONEXPLAYER 2 crowdfunding starts on December 18th, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. (EST).
ONEXPLAYER 2 comes with an 8.4-inch Full-HD IPS display with a resolution of 2560×1600 and a pair of detachable controllers, similar to the Nintendo Switch. The AMD 6800U processor powers it, and the base model comes with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. The starting price for the console is $1249, but if you get the early bird discount, you only need to pay $899 (28% off).
This is being marketed as a 3-in-1 device, so you can play games in handheld and tabletop modes and even connect it to your TV to get a more immersive experience and game on a bigger screen.
To push the sales of the ONEXPLAYER 2, the company is offering some deals for those that pre-order. If you buy the console during the first 2 hours of the sale, you get a free screen protector, case, 64 GB TF card, OneXPlayer shirt, baseball cap, and joystick covers. All these items have a total value of $186.
If you buy the console during the first 22 hours, you will get the protective case, customized skin, screen protector, and joystick covers for free. These have a value of $70. Lastly, if you buy the console during the first 48 hours, you will get the customized skin, screen protector, and joystick covers for free, which cost $31.
