One Lonely Outpost Repair Minigame Guide (How to Repair)

Share

One Lonely Outpost has a minigame that is your only way to repair various devices you craft. It is a unique mechanic but sometimes it can be annoying to complete the challenges it present. In this guide, we will discuss everything you need to know about the repair mini game, and help you fix the computer in your ship in One Lonely Outpost.

The first thing you need to do is unlock repairing in One Lonely Outpost. This can only be done once you recruit Aaron in One Lonely Outpost. Refer to our comprehensive recruitment guide for more.

In fact, the computer only breaks after Aaron arrives due to a solar storm that wrecks the ship. So it’s a good thing Aaron is around to help you repair the computer in the ship. It is to be noted that any electronic machine in your colony can break down, not just the computer on your ship.

How to Repair in One Lonely Outpost – Minigame Explained

To start repairing in One Lonely Outpost you need to play a puzzle minigame that looks something like this:

One Lonely Outpost repair/ maintenance minigame.

While it looks like this, it can generate different puzzles on every interaction. This means if a puzzle is too hard for you, you can simply back out and interact with the minigame again in hopes of getting an easier puzzle. To solve the repair minigame puzzle in One Lonely Outpost, you must rearrange the tiles to complete circuit.

Note: Machineries usually break during Solar Storms exclusively. At the time of this writing, I was unable to experience any other anomaly that causes electronic machinery to break.

It should also be noted that you can’t repair any device until you have Aaron by your side. Your character doesn’t possess the ability to access the repairing feature in One Lonely Outpost.

That’s everything you need to know on how to repair in One Lonely Outpost. Have something to add? Let us know in the comments below.
