One GX1 is a small gaming laptop that is supposed to take on the Smach Z and even the Nintendo Switch. The PC was supposed to come out later this year and here we have a leaked image along with a spec sheet that reveals that the PC is going to be powered by an Intel Tiger Lake chip.
Interestingly, this is going to be the first gaming UMPC that features 5G technology. This means that you can play games on the go and always be connected. Other features include an M.2 slot, and an expansion port and a sim card slot.
Update: The company has confirmed that the GX1 is coming out this summer and that there is going to be a special Gundam version of the laptop as well.
The official presentation of the device mentions that the One GX1 is going to be customizable. Not only can you use 5G but you can use 4G as well. You can add a 2TB SSD so that you can save plenty of your games on the device.
The design of the gaming PC is similar tot he Alienware Area 51m. While other specifications are not included in the slides, we have got reports that the One GX1 features a 10,000 mAh battery. This could result in a few hours of game time even when the device is not connected.
It seems that the back has the vents. That is where the air is going to get out of. The I/O also seems to be at the back. There seems to be a single port on the side as well. I am not sure what the port is but it could be a USB port for a mouse.
Concepts had us believe that you would be able to fold the device like a 2-in-1 laptop but that does not seem to be the case from what we see in this new image.
Let us know what you think about the One GX1 and whether or not this is something that you must be interested in getting.
