If you’re on the hunt for powerful gear in Octopath Traveler 2, look no further than Legendary Arms. These highly sought-after weapons are among the strongest in the game and are essential for taking on the game’s most challenging post-game content.

In this guide, we’ll show you where to find Legendary Arms in Octopath Traveler 2, providing you with a comprehensive list of the game’s Legendary weapon locations. So, whether you’re a seasoned veteran or a newcomer to the game, this guide will help you get your hands on these formidable weapons and gear up for battle.

Where to Find All Legendary Arms (Weapons) in Octopath Traveler 2

Eight Legendary Arms are available, the majority of them located in areas with a Danger Level of 40 or higher. This is why you should be tackling these areas later in your adventure, once most of your party has reached Level 40.

Various guilds throughout Solistia are closely associated with the Legendary Arms. Without prior knowledge, it can be quite challenging to find these items in the game’s different regions.

You can ask guild masters for clues on where to find these legendary arms. Speaking with them and choosing “Hear more information” will give you valuable insights into where to find Legendary weapons.

Fire Dragon’s Glaive Location

In Octopath Traveler 2, you have to go to Hinoeuma’s Decaying Temple to get the Fire Dragon’s Glaive. All party members except one must be removed from the Tavern’s party roster in order to access the secret room that has the legendary arm.

Once alone, you should make your way to the temple and head towards the save point. On the left, you will find a set of stairs. In order to reveal the hidden room, move to the upper right corner of the area at the top of the stairs.

A chest in the secret room contains the Fire Dragon’s Glaive, a powerful weapon that deals massive fire damage.

Double Tomahawk Location

You can get the Double Tomahawk by opening a treasure chest in the southwest area of The Sundering Sea. You’ll need to fast-travel to Canalbrine in the Harborlands and head southwest.

You’ll need a boat to reach the treasure chest. Thanks to Partitio’s “Scent of Commerce” quest, you can get a boat. You can claim the Double Tomahawk once they have a boat.

Forbidden Blade Location

There’s a treasure chest hidden in the Forsaken Graveyard in Crestland where you can find the Forbidden Blade. It has a high physical attack stat and can deal devastating damage. There’s also a small chance it’ll buff an opponent’s physical attack.

You’ll have to beat the Devourer of Dreams boss to get the Forbidden Blade. Before trying to claim this powerful weapon, players should be prepared for the boss fight.

Exorcising Bow Location

In Timberain, Leaflands, you can steal the Exorcising Bow from the Elderly Soldier’s Possessions, west of the castle square. Use Throne’s Path Action to steal the weapon from the soldier.

For an 80% success rate, you need to level up Throne to at least level 60. You can deal significant damage to enemies with the Exorcising Bow once it’s stolen.

Stone of Truth Location

When you have 7 members in your party, you can fall off a bridge inside Beneath the Wall at Winterlands to get the Stone of Truth. You can do this by using Partitio’s Hire, Agnea’s Allure, Temenos’ Guide, and Ochette’s Befriend.

You can find an area beneath Beneath the Wall once you have more than 7 members on your list. Down the path, you’ll find a chest guarded by a boss. Kill the boss and open the chest to get the Stone of Truth.

Mooneater Dagger Location

Mooneater Dagger in Octopath Traveler 2 can only be obtained after completing Throne’s Chapter 4 to unlock the Lost Seed in Brightlands on the eastern continent. As soon as this area is accessible, you should head to the entrance of the Lost Seed and look for the Ruined Vessel.

The Mooneater Dagger can be stolen from the Ruined Vessel using the Throne’s Path Action. To increase the success rate of stealing the dagger to 80%, level up Throne to at least level 60. You can use the Mooneater Dagger to deal significant damage to enemies, making it a valuable weapon.

Sunshadow Staff Location

To find the Sunshadow Staff you should fast travel to Gravell in the Wildlands region and head to the Western Gravell Wilds area. Once there, you should change the time of day to night and wait until dawn.

You should see a boy walking from the town to the cliff at dawn. Use Temenos’ Path Action on the boy to start the quest. There’ll be a fight against a shadow creature that’s weak to Light, Electric, and Staff attacks.

By defeating the shadow creature, you will get the Sunshadow Staff, a powerful weapon that deals massive damage. Prepare yourself for a tough battle (The benefits of Aromatic Jerky are worth looking into), but the rewards are worth it.

Vest of Joy Location

The Vest of Joy is a reward for completing A Girl’s Request quest. You can accept the quest by talking to the Apathetic Girl at the edge of Conning Creek.
