How to Use Concoctions in Octopath Traveler 2
It’s important to note that the materials required for creating Concoctions vary depending on the type of Concoction you want to make. You can obtain these materials by looting enemies or finding them as items in the game world.
When you select the Concoction talent during Castti’s turn, you will be presented with a menu of the available Concoctions you can create. Each Concoction requires a specific combination of materials, so make sure you have the necessary items in your inventory before attempting to create a Concoction.
Once you have selected the Concoction you want to create, Castti will use her Alchemy skill to combine the materials and create the Concoction. The resulting effect of the Concoction will depend on the type of Concoction you created.
Also, keep in mind that creating Concoctions takes up Castti’s turn, so you won’t be able to use her for any other actions during that turn. Additionally, you’ll need to be careful when using Hazardous Concoctions as they can also affect your own party members if they’re caught in the blast radius.
If you use Castti’s Latent Power, she will be able to create Concoctions without consuming any materials. However, in order to use her Latent Power, you need to have at least one of the required materials in your inventory.
It’s a good idea to leave at least one of each material in your inventory so that you can use Castti’s Latent Power if needed. This way, you won’t run out of materials completely and you’ll still be able to create Concoctions when you need them.
