This will fix the Nioh 2 Application Load Error 3:0000065432.

Failure To Play Movie, Video Can’t Be Played Fix

A lot of Nioh 2 PC players are unable to play the game as they are experiencing the “Failure To Play Movie” error. This particular error is being caused by the anti-aliasing setting in Nvidia Control Panel. Open Nvidia Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings > select Nioh 2. Select “Off” for Antialiasing – mode. This will fix the Failure To Load Movie error with Nioh 2.

Crash Fix

Nioh 2 PC players are reporting that the game is crashing randomly while playing. There are multiple reasons behind the Nioh 2 in-game crash and here is how to fix it.

One reason for the game to crash is the use of third-party tools and software like MSI Afterburner, RGB Software, or any mice and keyboard software. Disable any third-party software you are using and also disable Steam overlay. This will fix the crashing issue.

Your CPU might be the reason why Nioh 2 is crashing. Chances are you are running the game on a low-end CPU. While there isn’t much you can do, here are some tweaks that might fix the Nioh 2 in-game crash. Open Nvidia Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings > select Nioh 2. Set “Low Latency Mode” to Ultra and select “off” for Tripple Buffering. Apply these settings and the game should not crash anymore.

Your GPU could also be the reason behind the game’s crash. Either the GPU is overclocked or is old. If the GPU is overclocked, then revert it to its default GPU clock even if it’s factory overclocked. In case the GPU isn’t overclocked but is old, use MSI Afterburner and reduce the GPU clock by 100 MHz. This will stabilize the game and won’t let it crash.

If you don’t want to mess with the GPU clock then try limiting the game’s max FPS. Open Nvidia Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings > select Nioh 2. Turn on “Max FPS Limit” and set the value to 30 and hit apply. The game will be locked at 30 FPS and will reduce the GPU and CPU load. This will fix the Nioh 2 crash.

XInput1_4.dll Missing, Missing DLL Files Fix

Nioh 2 PC players are reporting that when they launch the game they get an error telling them they are missing certain .dll files. The missing files the error mentions as follows.

api-ms-win-core-sysinfo-l1-2-1.dll

The first thing players need to try to fix the missing files error is to install the latest Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables both x64 and x86 versions. After that, update DirectX files.

If the error continues to persist, players can find these missing files online. Just download them and place them in Nioh 2’s folder. However, don’t do this for “XInput1_4.dll”. Instead, go to “C:\Windows\System32” and look for XInput1_3.dll. Copy and paste it in Nioh 2’s folder and then rename it to “XInput1_4.dll”. Launch the game and players won’t get any error message telling them that a dll file is missing.
