Amazon’s first attempt at a AAA RPG is released and brings some of the well-known elements we are used to. There are skills and attributes in New World that help you progress and build the best possible character. In this guide, we will discuss Core Attributes available in New World.
New World Core Attributes
There are 5 core attributes in the game and they comprise of Focus, Constitution, Intelligence, Dexterity, and Strength.
If you plan to use melee weapons you need to invest points into the strength attributes. Weapons scale their damage when points are invested here especially heavy weapons such as War Hammers. Meanwhile, light weapons such as Swords scale with Strength and Dexterity.
Investing points in Dexterity will improve your effectiveness with light-one-handed melee weapons and ranged weapons including muskets and bows.
If you prefer using magical weapons invest your attribute points in Intelligence to increase their effectiveness. Additionally, weapons with magical perks will also scale. For example, a sword with ignited perk is more effective with increased Intelligence.
Constitution is a key attribute as it allows you to increase your overall health pool and as a result, you can fight for longer periods of time and take more damage.
Mana recovery as well as the effectiveness of the Life Staff is tied to Focus Attribute. You cast spells more frequently and with fewer consumables if you invest attribute points in Focus.
And that’s everything you need to know about the core attributes in the game.
