VC (Virtual Currency) is the main currency in NBA 2K21. VC is needed to upgrade your MyCareer character, upgrading three-point attributes, etc. You’ll also need to have VC in order to buy MyTeam packs, new dribble moves, and a whole lot of other items. By now, you might’ve guessed that VC is incredibly important in NBA 2K21 and this is what farming guide is all about!

NBA 2K21 VC Farming

In this NBA 2K21 guide, we’ve detailed a few methods that you can use for farming a lot of VC in the game.

Play through MyCareer

Arguably the best method of farming some easy VC in NBA 2K21. Remember that you’ll need to do well to increase VC generated. Things like scoring, successful passes, dodging defenders, assisting your teammates, etc. go a long way when it comes to earning VC through MyCareer. Also, remember that it also applies to The Neighborhood and Playground areas.

If you’re good at playing the game, you can also try Hall of Fame difficulty – playing on higher difficulty means more VC for you to earn. However, don’t let struggle you. Don’t ramp up the difficulty just for the sake of it.

Another good way of farming VC in NBA 2K21 is to simulate MyLeague games and jump in at the last minute to see it manually.

Spin the Wheel of Fortune

You get an opportunity to spin the wheel of fortune daily in order to earn a chance at obtaining various in-game rewards. These include 2x REP, VC, MyTeam Tokens, outfits, and so much more. In order to find the wheel, you need to head over to Jeff’s 2K Arcade in The Neighborhood. It shouldn’t take you more than a couple of minutes to get to the wheel and get your rewards.

Real-World NBA Results

While you’re in The Neighborhood, remember that you can also predict results of real-world NBA matches in order to earn some additional VC on the side if you happen to predict correctly.

Earn through MyNBA2K21 App

Another decent way of earning a small amount of VC every single day is to download the MyNBA2K21 App from Play Store or App Store on your smartphone device and simply log-in daily. The amount of VC earned through this isn’t massive but when combined with other methods mentioned, it does add up.

Watching 2KTV

2KTV is an in-game show within NBA 2K21. Accessing from the main menu, the show has you answer a few relatively simple questions that you can answer to earn a small amount of VC – around 200-300 VC per correct answer. If you manage to answer every question correctly, you’ll net yourself approx. 2500-3000 VC.

Buying VC through Real Money

If you’re interested, you also have the option to buy VC using real-life money.

I’m in no way an advocate of spending your hard-earned cash and you should always avoid microtransactions whenever you can but if you aren’t left with any alternative, try to buy the bigger bundle to get more value out of your money. Also, if you can wait, you’ll often find VC on sale which you can take advantage of.

By default, these are the prices of different amounts of VC against real-life money:

5,000 £1.69
15,000 £3.99
35,000 £7.99
75,000 £15.99
200,000 £39.99
450,000 £79.99
