The Outer Worlds: Murder on Eridanos Udder Buddy
Similar to Spectrum Gatling and The Needler, Udder Buddy in the game comes with a unique effect. The weapon has a chance to magnetize the targets. Once a target has been magnetized, it pulls all nearby enemies toward it after a brief delay. Investing in the ‘Science’ skill increases the magnetize chances. Since it’s a Science Weapon, Udder Buddy in The Outer Worlds has no mods.
When it comes to getting the Science Weapon, it requires players to complete the ‘Lost Little Milkmech’ optional quest in the game. In order to start the quest, players need to speak to Mildred Lennox at the Legal Hunting Supplies store right next to Wilderness Exploitation Reserve.
To complete the quest, players need to find Betty the Milkmech and take her back to Mildred. To find her, head over to the backside of the Legal Hunting Supplies store and make way toward the west side with a few Canids in the area. There are a couple of ways to complete the questline.
Players can either kill everything in the area to have Betty automatically return to Mildred or sneak behind her for a few dialogue options. For the latter option, sneak behind her, choose the Engineering option, and then the Hack/Lockpick option. If done successfully, players will be able to sneak Betty the Milkmech out of the area to Mildred and complete the quest to acquire the Udder Buddy weapon.
