The new SSD is aimed at professionals, content creators, and gamers that need faster read and write speeds. It is compliant with NVMe 2.0 and M.2 2280 form factor and comes with a bronze-colored aluminum heatsink. Furthermore, users can use MSI Center to check the operating temperature of the SSD as well as keep backups and check drive health. The drive has a mean life of about 1,600,000 hours and comes with a limited warranty of 5 years.

PCIe Gen5 SSDs are supported on both Intel 13th gen and AMD Ryzen 7000 series CPUs. Just make sure that the motherboard you get supports the feature. All the mainstream AMD motherboards do not support Gen5 SSDs since this is an optional feature. You will get support for Gen5 SSDs on higher-end motherboards such as B650E, X670, and X670E.
