There are a whole lot of key items in Mortal Shell. As the name suggests, finding these items is crucial to your progression in the game. Some of them are simply needed to unlock additional areas while others are needed to unlock new weapon abilities. In this Mortal Shell guide, we’ll walk you through everything you need to know about finding different key items in the game and their effects.
Mortal Shell Key Items Locations
The following is our work-in-progress list of all the key items and their locations in Mortal Shell. Please do note that these items have been pulled from the game’s beta. We’ll continue to update the guide with additional info. once the game launches officially.
You need to have the item in order to unlock the Foul Censer weapon skill on Hammer and Chisel.
This adds the Molten Spike weapon ability on the Hallowed Sword.
You’ll find this item at the very start of Fallgrim Outskirts. Once found, you’ll be able to use it to interrupt enemy attacks and parry them.
Quenching Acid is needed to upgrade a weapon’s strength and damage at the Anvil.
You can use Solemn Offering in order to enhance the healing effects provided by Tarnished Seal from empowered ripostes.
You need to have the item in order to unlock the Perfumed Censer weapon skill on Hammer and Chisel. You can find it in the Abandoned Chamber.
This adds the Mechanical Spike weapon ability on the Hallowed Sword.
It increases the amount of resolve acquired from Tarnished Seal.
You need this item in order to unlock the Radiant Winterglass weapon skill on the Martyr’s Blade.
You need this item in order to unlock the Petrified Winterglass weapon skill on the Martyr’s Blade.
