Large Herbivore Bone Location

To get your hands on the Large Herbivore Bone, you need to take down the following two monsters in Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak:

  1. Slagtoth
  2. Rhenoplos

#1: Slagtoth

If you venture to the coastal, you may come across a Slagtoth – an amiable, plant-eating species. Although it can be challenging to find, the most common place to find Slagtoth is Flooded Forests. Specifically, Areas 1, 2, 4, and 5 are known for having a high population. Therefore, exploring these regions will likely net you a handful of Slagtoth. You can also head towards Lava Caverns Area 1 and 2 to find Slagtoth. Once there, take out the monster for a 20% chance of receiving Large Herbivore Bone as a reward.

#2: Rhenoplos

Rhenoplos can often lurk in Sandy Plains Areas 4 and 5, charging without warning at unsuspecting prey. If you can’t locate the Rhenoplos in Sandy Plains, head to The Lava Caverns. These creatures are located in Areas 1, 6, 8, 10, and 11. If you hunt and carve Rhenoplos, your chances of receiving the coveted Large Herbivore Bone increase by 20%.
