Magnamalo is one of the monsters that you can take down in Monster Hunter Rise. This is a new Fanged Wyvern monster that has been added to the new game. In this Monster Hunter Rise guide, we are going to go over how you can beat Magnamalo.

Magnamalo can use the hellfire in a couple of ways. First, the hellfire will be around the boss but then it is going to absorb it. You will see the monster light up and have what looks like an aura. Finally, the purple flame turns reddish-purple. When that happens, the monster is going to become very agile and its damage is going to increase.

How To Beat Magnamalo In Monster Hunter Rise

The boss has a couple of weak points including the head, tail and front legs. You can sever the head and the tail of the monster. The monster can use hellfire against you which is going to make the monster tricky to take down.

Magnamalo has a glowing tail which it can use to attack you like a spear. In order to beat the boss, you are going to need Spiribirds. Use these to increase your stats especially your health in order to prep for the monster battle.

Wyvern riding is going to come in handy against the monster. Mizutsune is a good choice against the monster. Rathian is also a good choice. Endemic Life can also be used to give you an edge. You can use Puppet Spiders to make riding other monsters easier. You can also use Thunderbeetles to stun the monster.

Wirebug is also going to help you in the fight. Having an extra one will allow you to survive and evade the attacks of the monster.

There are a couple of ways in which you can deal with the Hellfire blight. Firstly, you can use Wiredash. Secondly, dodge 5 times and the blight will go away. Finally, you can use Deodorant in order to get rid of the blight instantly.
