Players who like massive combos, increased Attack Speed and Attack Damage can’t go wrong with Dual Blades in Monster Hunter Rise. In this Monster Hunter guide, we’ve detailed everything there’s to know about Dual Blades, controls, Skilbind, and best combos to use.
Monster Hunter Rise Dual Blades
Thanks to their incredible Attack Speed, Dual Blades are very useful when it comes to applying various status ailments. Since they’ve got decent Attack Speed and a high recovery rate, they can also be used in order to chain attacks and high-damage combos. On top of all that, by using Demon Mode and Archdemon Mode, players can increase their Attack Speed and Attack Damage even further.
Controls
In this section of the guide are all the basic controls related to the Great Sword in MHR:
- Double Slash: X
- Lunging Strike: A
- Turning Strike: A + Left during Combo
- Demon Mode: ZR
- Blade Dance: X + A during the Demon Mode
Skilbind Attacks
There are three Skilbind Attacks that players can perform with the Great Sword. These are:
- Piercing Bind: ZL +X
- Tower Vault: ZL +X
- Shrouded Vault: ZL + A
With the Shrouded Vault, players can leap in the targeted direction. Getting hit while moving triggers a spinning attack. Piercing Bind, on the other hand, lets players pierce a target with a kunai that explode after a brief moment. It can also be switched out by Tower Vault that players move out in the air but doesn’t deal any damage.
