Minecraft Legends PC players report that the game is not saving their progress as they get a “Low Memory” error message despite having GBs of empty HDD or SSD. Here is how you can fix the Minecraft Legends Low Memory error.

Minecraft Legends Low Memory Fixes That’ll Help

As mentioned above, Minecraft Legends is not saving players’ progress and they have to start all over again. The following are the fixes that will help players resolve the issue.

Run The Game As An Administrator

In some cases, games don’t save player progress if they don’t have admin rights. This might be the case that with administrative rights, Minecraft Legends is unable to save your progress. Right-click the game in Steam Library > Manage > Browse local files. A new explorer window will open containing game files. Right-click Minecraft Legends’ executable > properties > Compatibility tab > check “Run This Program as administrator” and apply. This will fix the Low Memory error and your progress will start to save.

Disable Controlled Folder Access

Controlled Folder Access often restricts apps and games from accessing certain folders. This can result in games or apps losing access to folders where they are supposed to create save files. Disable COntrolled Folder Access and the Minecraft Legends Low memory error will be fixed and game will start saving your progress. Open Settings > Privacy & Security > Windows Security > Virus & Threat Protection > Manage ransomware protection > Turn off controlled folder access.
