Tiles can be placed right next to one another in order to get different benefits. In this guide, we’ve detailed everything there’s to know about all the tile combos in Loop Hero that players can use in order to get various effects.
Loop Hero Tile Combos
There are two types of tiles in Loop Hero. One that can be placed directly from the hand and others that require a combination of different cards. Below, players can find a complete list of all the tile combos in the game:
A couple of Battlefields can be placed adjacent to each other to create a Bloody Path that spawns Blood Clots.
Players can place a Storm Temple and then either a Forest or a Thicket in its path to create a Burning Forest. This provides 0.5 damage.
Players can place a Blood Grove adjacent to a Grove and then Oblivion on top of it to create a Hungry Grove tile. This will attack targets that are below 20% HP but will also attack the players for 17 HP. It’s also possible to place a Vampire Village next to a Grove to start creating Blood Golems.
Meadows can be placed right next to anything to create Blooming Meadows that heal for +3 instead of +2 and also yield additional resources – pretty neat!
Players can place a Battlefield right next to a River to create a Shipwreck with chests, sirens, etc. It’s also possible to place a Road near it to make Reed that creates Fishmen. Lastly, placing a River near a Sand Dune automatically upgrades them.
3 x 3 Rocks can create a Mountain Peak that grants a huge HP boost but also spawns Harpies. In addition to this, approx. 10 Rocks/Mountains can create a Goblin Outpost.
Placing a Goblin Outpost next to a Swamp creates a Goblin Lookout Post with a Goblin Archer – a support unit. Alternatively, placing a Swamp near a Vampire Mansion converts its lifesteal into the damage, making it relatively easier to kill.
Placing any tile next to a Treasury will provide players a nice influx of resources. However, do note that an empty Treasury tends to spawn Gargoyles inside.
Village combined with a Vampire Mansion becomes a Ransacked Village that creates a total of four Ghouls for three loops. It later transforms into a Count’s Lands, and thus, restoring additional HP and yielding better rewards.
Lastly, do note that the guide is currently a work-in-progress. Be sure to check back for more info. Also, a huge shoutout to Uncy for compiling the ongoing list of combos.
