Crash At Startup Fix

PC players report that the game is crashing at startup. They launch the game, and it instantly crashes. The following fixes for Like a Dragon: Ishin crash at startup issue.

Force DirectX 11

Like a Dragon: Ishin system requirements state that the game uses DirectX 12. However, DX12 is causing the game to crash at startup for some players. The fix is to force the game to use DirectX 11. Right-click the game in Steam library > Properties > Genal tab > type -dx11 under Launch Options and close the window. Launch Like a Dragon: Ishin, and it’ll launch without crashing.

Disable Fullscreen Optimizations

Force DX11

Like a Dragon: Ishin requires a DirectX 12 GPU to run, but the game also supports DX11 and has to be forced to use it.
