Leaked Assassin’s Creed 2020 Details Point To Saxon Kingdoms

Assassin’s Creed 2020 is Ubisoft’s next-generation Assassin’s game. Over the past few months, many leaks came up and while some ended up being fake, it doesn’t stop new ones from popping up. However, take this new information with a major grain of salt as a similar leak was proven fake earlier.

The next Assassin’s Creed game is called Assassin’s Creed: Kingdoms. The title is set in the early 1000s and you play a Danish Viking. There is no female character this time so you will be exploring Denmark, southern Sweden, Norway, parts of Ireland and England as a man. The entire story unfolds with a Saxon Kingdoms backdrop.

According to the leaked information, the quests are so far the most interesting, one in Irelands has you searching for missing children down a well and it evolves into a Celtic folklore mystery quest.

Meanwhile, another quest has the main character climbing a mountain in Norway and he sees apparitions of Odin. The major theme of Assassin’s Creed 2020 is many Norse converting to Christianity.

Like I mentioned before, take this with a grain of salt, there is no concrete evidence to support this rumor. However, it is still an interesting one to discuss.

The good news is that the rumored Assassin’s Creed Vikings game is set after the events of Assassin’s Creed Origins which means we will actually see Assassin’s in this game. One of the criticism Odyssey faced is the lack of Assassins in an Assassin’s Creed game.

The inception of the Assassins took place in Origins while Odyssey was set a long time prior to Origins. Whatever this new game is from Ubisoft, it is sure to hit PlayStation 5 and Xbox Scarlett. It is indeed going to be a next-gen title but we might see a cross-gen release as PS4 and Xbox One aren’t dead yet.
