How to Get Touch of Malice Catalyst in King’s Fall

With the return of the reprised King’s Fall raid, Touch of Malice has returned in Destiny 2. It also has an Exotic Catalyst that further enhances its performance. Acquiring it, however, requires the completion of a puzzle in the reprised King’s Fall raid. In this Destiny 2 guide, we have detailed all there is to learn about getting Touch of Malice catalyst.

King’s Fall Touch of Malice Catalyst

It goes without saying but someone in the team needs to have the Touch of Malice equipped to start the catalyst quest. To begin, one player equipped with Touch of Malice steps on a plate to spawn a bunch of relics in the area. The remaining players must collect these relics at roughly the same time and bring them at a statue within a minute. Failing to do so will respawn the relics so you can continue to do this until you complete it successfully.

From what we have heard, these relics can appear in random locations, therefore, it is a good idea to have the team spread out to collect them. There are a total of three plates that you need to step on:

  • One is on the left of the portal that you go through to get to the Totems encounter.
  • There is one on the left of the Secret Chest in the Golgoroth maze.
  • The last plate is during the push-wall puzzle – near the end.

As for where these relics need to be deposited, it can be a little confusing. You can refer to this video tutorial for detailed instructions:

Once acquired, it grants the weapon Rapid Hit which is an amazing addition.

This is all we have got in how to get the Touch of Malice catalyst in Destiny 2. Feel free to see our detailed Destiny 2 guides hub for more help on the game.
