Gaze Amaze is the 3rd raid challenge in King’s Fall that is needed to earn the Kingslayer seal in Destiny 2. It is done during the Golgoroth encounter and is pretty easy as compared to Basilica and Warpriest. But how do you do complete the Gaze Amaze challenge? In this Destiny 2 guide, we have detailed all there is to know about how to complete the Gaze Amaze raid challenge in King’s Fall.
As mentioned earlier, Gaze Amaze is a pretty simple challenge even on the Master Mode. In order to complete the challenge, you just need to have good communication between the Gaze Holders and the rest of the team can solely focus on the DPS. The challenge requires you to Capture the Gaze only when the Gaze Holder is standing in the Pool of Reclaimed Light.
For those who do not know, the Pool of Reclaimed Light is the area where the Poison Sac drops so that you can deal damage to Golgoroth. Having at least 4 Warlocks with Well of Radiance makes this challenge a literal cakewalk. All that you need to do is to place a Well of Radiance at every orb and the Gaze Holder will never need to leave the Pool of Reclaimed Light. As for the Axion Darts that Golgorth fires at the Gaze Holder, they do not do any damage while you are standing in a Well of Radiance.
The only thing that you will need to watch out for is that sometimes, the textures of the Pool of Reclaimed Light can get mixed up with Rifts, etc. Therefore, it is a good idea to rely on the on-screen indication on the left side of the screen.
Master Mode Tips
The only difference that you will notice in the Master Mode is that there will be 2 Barrier Knights that spawn before the DPS phase. And this generally works in our favor since we can hit Aeon Finishers to generate Power Ammo for the entire team. If you are under 1595, I will also recommend running it with 4 Warlocks running Well of Radiance so that you will not need to worry about survival.
By the time you reach the last 2 Poison Sacs, people who placed Wells on the first 2 Poison Sacs should have their Supers back.
