How To Kill Tormentors (Easy Way) In Destiny 2 Lightfall

The Lightfall expansion for destiny 2 has added a lot of content including a new location to explore and the dangerous enemy type called Tormentors. Tormentors have massive scythes and can use Darkness against you. In this Destiny 2 guide, we go over how you can kill Tormentors easily.

How To Kill Tormentors In Destiny 2

The following is what you need to know about killing Tormentors in Destiny 2:

Shoot The Glowing Parts (Weak Spots)

When you are up against one of these enemies, you will notice parts of their bodies glowing. These are weak points that you should target in order to deal the most damage. As you deal damage the weak points are going to change. So keep an eye out for them and focus your fire accordingly.

Keep Your Distance

We recommend staying away from these enemies as they can grab you and use Darkness to drain your health.

Tormentors Are Immobile When Draining

If a member of your fire team has been grabbed by a Tormentor, then you can still shoot and deal damage. This is actually something that we recommend since this enemy is immobile while draining.

Use Stasis

Tormentors will try and get up close and personal with you but like any enemy, they can be frozen with Stasis abilities. Freezing them will hold them in place and keep them from getting to you. It can also slow them giving you some room to breathe.

Use Finishers

Just like other enemies in the game, you can use finishers on Tormentors. When they are low on health, you will see the prompt on their head. Get in there and finish them off in a quick blow.

Tormentors Can Suppress Your Abilities

This enemy can suppress your ability and keep you from using them for a short period of time. This is not possible when they are frozen. This is another reason why we recommend using Stasis.
