Leonine Misbegotten is one of the Great Enemies that you can find in Elden Ring. This is an optional boss, so you do not need to kill him to progress the main story. He does drop some runes and the Grafted Blade Greatsword, which could be why you want to defeat him. Elden Ring Leonine Misbegotten Boss Fight
The Leonine Misbegotten is a very quick boss and can easily deplete your stamina with its quick attacks if you have a melee build and are blocking. This is why we recommend distracting him with your spirit summon and attacking him from a distance. Any spirit summons that you have should work fine, but better ones, such as Mimic Tear, are preferred. If you are starting off, then you should have the Lone Wolf Ashes.
Once you enter the boss arena, summon your spirit and then move to a safe distance. Let the summon get aggro and then damage with spells from a distance. You can use Glintstone Pebble. While the boss does have resistance towards magic, this is still a safe way of defeating him.
If you want to use a melee build or do not want to use magic, then you should know that the boss has resistance towards Magic, Holy and Lightning damage, and is immune to Madness. It is weak against slash and fire attacks. So prepare your gear accordingly.
