We have already discussed how to beat Cragclaw, but there is an even bigger threat on the savage planet. Teratomo is another boss in Journey to the Savage Planet that you need to take care of in order to progress. You will come across this boss fight as part of the title’s main story and once you are able to beat him, you earn Teratomo Defeated achievement.
How to Beat Teratomo
As with any other boss fight, there are three phases of Teratomo HP you need to take care of. In order to take this freak down, you need to attack all the glowing bulbs on his body. If you possess Bomegranates, use them to damage orbs. Once you run out of the Bomegranates you can get more and your HP back up from the back platforms. When you deal with each phase, gather resources between each round. Don’t attack until you have enough resources and once you do, attack Teratomo to trigger the next phase of the boss fight.
A great strategy is to keep yourself at the back platforms to deal most damage during phases. Don’t stay on the platforms all the time. You will have to jump off the platforms when Teratomo throws lava at you. Try to avoid the middle platform for the most part, it is mostly used to escape lava.
Another thing you need to remember is that it spawns little enemies to keep track of them and take them down. Keep dealing damage to Teratomo and you will be good to go.
