How To Get Carbon In Journey To The Savage Planet?
Carbon is mainly found by killing some of AR-Y 26’s fauna, however, that being said there are a few other methods as well.
Firstly, you’ll have to kill the PufferBirds which are commonly found throughout the main areas of the game. They drop a small amount of carbon on death, so try to kill them in large numbers. This can be a bit time-consuming keeping in mind the small amount of Carbon you get for killing PufferBirds.
The other source can be the carbon deposits that you may come across the world of Journey to the Savage Planet. These provide a generous amount of carbon. The deposits look like rocks with light blue crystals stuck to them. You can find them in a majority at the beginning of the game. In order to obtain carbon from one of these deposits, you will need to shoot the ore veins using your laser pistol.
