Poison damage can be a tricky thing to deal with in Valheim. As this is a survival game, health is precious and you want to avoid taking damage when possible. In this Valheim guide, we are going to go over how you can increase your resistance to poison.
Creatures in the swamp region such as leeches and blobs have poison attacks that can leech the life of you. That is why finding a solution early on is going to benefit you in the long run. Not to mention that the Bonemass boss does a decent amount of poison damage too.
Increasing Resistance To Poison In Valheim
The best way to increase your resistance to poison is by brewing poison resistance mead. You can do so once you have got all the items that are listed below. You will need to craft a cauldron to brew the potion and that you can do after you get tin. The items that you are going to need for the poison resistance mead are as follows:
- 10 Honey
- 5 Thistle
- 1 Neck tail
- 10 Coal
Honey is a difficult item to come across but you can check out our guide on how you can find honey along with the Queen Bee. Finding the Queen Bee will allow you to make your own beehives which can come in handy. The other difficult resource is Thistle. You can find it in the black forest and swamp regions. It looks like a blue glowy paint and it is rare.
You can get neck tails from Neck Lizards and you can make coal via the charcoal kiln or by burning food. Once you have all the items, you will need to make the base and fermenter. Note that the resistance is going to last for 10 minutes which is plenty of time to take down enemies and even a boss.
