In our Code Vein Upgrades Guide, we’ve detailed everything you need to know about how to upgrade your equipment i.e. weapons and armor in the game. It’s a good idea to continue upgrading your equipment so that you’re able to keep up with the game’s continued increase in difficulty.
Upgrade Weapons and Armor in Code Vein
After defeating the first boss in the game, you need to head over to the Home Base. Once there, you need to speak with Louis who will ask you to reach out to Rin Murasame who is the game’s upgrades vendor.
To upgrade a weapon or a Blood Veil in Code Vein, you need to have a good amount of Haze (the game’s version of Souls from Dark Souls games) and the required upgrade materials i.e. Queen’s Iron, Queen’s Steel, Queen’s Titanium, Queen’s Tungsten.
Weapon Transformation is another important aspect of the game. You get it after obtaining a Rare Weapon Upgrade (by exchanging items with an NPC). The cost of Weapon Transformation is pretty high but it’s all worth it when it comes to stats.
Your weapons and Blood Veils can be upgraded to Level 10 with each upgrade costing more and more upgrade materials.
