To upgrade your attributes in NBA 2K1 you need plenty of VC. If you are short on VC you can check out our VC farming guide to get your hands on a ton of virtual currency. The virtual currency is the way to upgrade your attributes in NBA 2K. When you find yourself in possession of enough VC in NBA 2K21, you can start upgrading your attributes. Go to the progression tab and access the MyCareer menu. From there go to the snapshot menu where you can use VC to upgrade a plethora of attributes in NBA 2K21. The following is the list of upgradeable attributes in NBA 2K21.
- Finishing
- Shooting
- Defense / Rebounding
- Playmaking
You can only upgrade each attribute to 85 overall. It is a soft cap that is broken by participating in practice drills. You can access the drills through the main menu. At the end of each drill, your performance is graded from F to A+. Doing better in practice drills will unlock more attributes for your player. Get good grades in assist, grabbing rebounds, scoring, and more to boost your attributes.
