The Pit of Heresy is a new dungeon in Destiny 2 that requires 940 power. This means that you need to have the best possible gear to reach this power, and have to be at level 880. The Pit of Heresy in Destiny 2
Before you can unlock the Pit of Heresy, you need to complete the Shadowkeep campaign. Then, you need to go to Eris’s Morn and obtain the Deepening Wake, and then the Altars of Sorrow from Sorrow’s Harbour. Now, you need to defeat 20 nightmares, and open a Tier three chest while you are in this mission and complete the mission.
When you complete the Deepening Wake, you would have unlocked the Pit of heresy. You will find this dungeon buried under Sorrow’s Harbour. Now, you just need to pass the Necropolis, and reach white marked place.
This is the entrance point to the Pit of Heresy. So, before hoping into the dungeon just make sure that you are at least on power level 940.
There are several epic rewards that you will get upon completing this dungeon, and it is a lot of fun in this dungeon because of the difficulty of enemies and all. So, this is all that there is to know for the players to unlock the Pit of Heresy in Destiny 2.
