Still in early access, Cinderia offers plenty of interesting characters in the game. Rivet, the blacksmith girl, is one of them. Rivet is the second playable character after Rue. She is a powerhouse of ranged attacks with cannons, turrets and explosives. To unlock her, you need to progress naturally in the main story by interacting with one of the event rooms.
The event rooms are random entry points that appear as a question mark in the area. So, which one to enter and where to enter the event room to unlock Rivet is all here in this guide.
How To Get Rivet In Cinderia
Although it’s not that difficult to get to her because no boss fight is linked to her unlocking, unlike Uma. The only tricky part, talking to whom and entering the right event room, is the hassle here.
Rescue Grant the Blacksmith
When you are exploring the first area before entering the Forest, you will see an old man being taken away by witch forces in an event room. Eliminate all the evil forces that are in the area and talk to Grant. He will be grateful to your for saving him and follows you back to the shelter.
When you return to shelter talk to him again, and he will ask for some stones that he needs to build his forge. During his chats he will mention his niece “who’s still out there” and “can handle herself”. That’s your hint that she will now spawn in one of the event rooms.
Find Rivet in the Event Room
After Grants mention about Rivet you start looking for her in all the event room that are available in the first area before Forest. Your best chance is that you check every mysterious room.
Once found you’ll have to fight along side her. The explosive that she is using will not cause any damage to you. After clearing the room, she will inquire about her uncle Grant. After the interaction she will head along with you to the shelter.
If you don’t find her after checking all the rooms, then reset and start again you might have missed one.
Rivet Combat Style
The playstyle of Rivet is heavily based on shooting explosives at the enemy offering long range attacks. Best choice for players who prefers to kill enemies from a distance. As you play this character you can apply certain upgrades and add perks to its different slots. Its my most favorite so far in Cinderia.
