Unless it is nerfed in a future update, Nightfall is the best weapon in Remant 2. Provided that you build around it, it can easily do an incredible amount of DPS. It is able to do that because of its Weapon Mod called the Dreadwalker. This basically lets you enter the Nightmare Realm which gives it infinite ammo, 35% increased fire rate, 10% Lifesteal, and full-auto for 10 seconds. Other than that, you are also significantly harder to hit while moving. This guide will explain everything you need to know about unlocking Nightfall in Remnant 2.
Remnant 2 Unlock Nightfall
In order to unlock Nightfall, you will need to defeat Nightweaver in Losomn. Similar to some other bosses in Remnant 2, it can spawn in a couple of areas. Also, since it is an optional fight, it is entirely missable. It is also a pretty tough fight that has 2-phases. Once you have defeated Nightweaver, you will get the Cursed Dream Silks. After that, you will need to head over to McCabe in Ward 13 to craft Nightfall. To do so, you will need a total of 7x Lumenite Crystals and 650x Scrap. If you are running short on Lumenite Crystals, you should be able to purchase some from Cass found in Ward 13 — in the outside area near the World Stone.
Best Archetypes for Nightfall
While it can work with almost every Archetype in the game, there is one combination that works well as compared to others — Hunter + Gunslinger. It does not have any healing other than the Dragon Heart but it can still survive due to Lifesteal provided by Nightfall.
