Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower is buried in ice and it is your job to figure out how to unlock it to create a fast travel point in the Gerudo Highlands. You’re not alone in this, many are struggling to figure it out but we are here to help! In this guide, I will break down all the steps you need to perform to successfully solve the Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower puzzle in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
How to Unlock Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
To unlock the Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower you need to get under it and use the Ascend ability to get inside it. There is no known way to remove the snow so you can never come back here and enter the tower normally. You can either go under the tower every time or use the fast travel point that’s created after you unlock the Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower.
To get under the Gerudo Skyview Tower, you need to enter the cave at the base of the mountain right next to the tower.
Enter the cave and read the notes at the campsite. You will also see building materials at the campsite that you can use to create a raft or simply pick up a single board and place it in the river.
Climb on the wooden board and go all the way to the end of the cave. You need to Anchor the wooden raft in between the pillars at the edge of the cave.
Pro Tip: Don’t use a single board as a raft because that’s a mistake I made. Connect a large board to a smaller one to create a longer raft which will come in handy for the last part of this puzzle.
Since I used a single board I had a really hard time getting the raft in position. Thankfully, there is a larger board on the beach in this area. If you did what I did, you need to grab the larger board and attach it to the one you can on to create a larger piece.
Place the board at the very end of the far side pillars, as shown in the image below.
The final step of the Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower Puzzle is jumping on this raft and using the Ascend ability to get inside the tower. Now all you need to do is interact with the terminal, as usual, to unlock the Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
