Chicago Typewriter in Remnant 2 is essentially the Tommy Gun. It can chew down multiple waves of enemies with no problems whatsoever. And since it is not a Special Weapon, it can also use Weapon Mod such as Hot Shot which can make it a somewhat viable option for bosses. Remnant 2 Chicago Typewriter
To begin the quest for the Chicago Typewriter, you will need to progress through the game until you are teleported to Labyrinth — it will happen after you defeat the first Campaign Boss.
After being teleported to Labyrinth, head over to Fractured Ingress. From the area, head up the stairs on the right. In the new area, you will need to drop down from the portal into another hidden portal.
Once you are in the new area, you will need to jump on the blocks and traverse the area until you are able to crouch through a small space. A little ahead, you will come across a locked door that needs the Biome Portal Key to open. After you have acquired it, open the door and use the portal to get teleported to Ward 13 — in an otherwise inaccessible area.
After getting teleported to Ward 13, you will have a couple of crates next to you. One of them contains the Chicago Typewriter and the other one contains a very good Armor Set called Leto Armor.
Once you have acquired the Chicago Typewriter, make sure to upgrade it as much as you can. It is well worth it.
