There are multiple secret Archetypes that you can unlock in Remnant 2. None of those, however, is as interesting as Archon. It is a utility-based class that focuses on Mod Power regeneration, increasing Mod Damage, and providing support to nearby allies. The best thing about Archon, however, is the way through which it is acquired. In this guide, we have covered everything you need to know about unlocking Archon Archetype in Remnant 2.
Remnant 2 Archon Archetype
The key to unlocking Archon lies within a corrupted portal that you may have stumbled upon while exploring Labyrinth. However, once you get there, you will notice that there is seemingly no way of opening it. You will also need to have 2 Archetypes i.e. Invader and Explorer unlocked.
To begin unlocking Archon, you will need to collect a specific set of items. These are:
| Explorer | Select the Fortune Hunter skill. |
| Invader | Select the Wormhole skill. |
| Realmwalker Armor Set | This comes with Explorer. Pretty simple. |
| Void Heart | This is a Relic that has an entire questline dedicated to it. We have a separate guide on that if you are interested. |
| Leto Amulet | You can purchase this from Reggie in Ward 13. |
| Amber Moonstone Ring | You can purchase this from Cass in Ward 13. |
| Anastasija’s Inspiration Ring | You can purchase it from Whispers in Ward 13. |
| Zania’s Malice Ring | It is found in Ashen Wasteland, Root Earth. |
| Black Cat Band Ring | You can purchase this from Reggie in Ward 13. |
| Ford’s Scattergun | Kill the Corruptor. |
| Cube Gun | You will need to craft it via McCabe using the Conflux Prism after defeating Labyrinth Sentinel. |
| Labyrinth Staff | It is found in Labyrinth. |
| Biome Portal Key | It is another item that you can get in Labyrinth. |
Once you have all the items, you will need to equip them and find the Fractured Ingress in Labyrinth and find a corrupted portal. You will need to head inside this portal using the Biome Portal Key.
Finding the Strange Box
Once you are in the area, you will need to head over to the far back of the area on the left side to find an item called the Strange Box. Once you have that, you will need to give it to Wallace in Ward 13 along with 1,000 Scrap and 10x Lumenite Crystal to get the Hexahedron. You can then equip it to get Archon.
