How to Unlock and Use Hacks in Deathloop

Hacking is one of the main skills you have in Deathloop. While it may not seem that way early on, hacking is actually crucial to your progress in the game. In this guide, we will discuss everything you need to know on how to unlock and use hacking in Deathloop.

Deathloop: How to Unlock and Use Hacks

You can use hacking for taking down turrets, opening doors, and more. You come across hacking ability soon after you start the game at Manor Cliffs. You get something called the “Hackmajig,” a tool that lets you hack objects.

To use the hacking ability you need to pull out the tool from your inventory and equip it. Deathloop does a good job of making it easy for you to hack objects. Hackable objects are highlighted when you get close to them.

If you are in the range of a hackable item hold L1 until the hack is complete.

Hacking isn’t consumable so you can use it whenever you want. No resources are consumed when you hack. However, you can use an upgrade to increase the range of your Hackmajig.

You can hack any object that has an antenna including sensors, cameras, turrets, doors and terminals, shutters, and enemy walkie-talkies.

And that’s everything you need to know on how to unlock hacking in Deathloop.
