How to Unlock and Gild the Deadeye Title in Destiny 2: Season of the Lost

Deadeye is a new seal/title added to Destiny 2 with the release of Season of the Lost. It is a weapon-based seal that requires the player to get a bunch of kills with different weapon archetypes – both in PvE and PvP. In this guide, we have detailed all there is to know about how to unlock and gild the new Deadeye seal in Destiny 2: Season of the Lost.

Destiny 2: Season of the Lost Deadeye

As mentioned earlier, Deadeye is a weapon-based title. But before we begin, do note that the Sweet Spotter is bugged as of right now. Bungie has promised to fix it in the coming days but it may take a couple of days or even a week. To keep things simple, we have divided the triumphs into different sections i.e., Aptitude, Mastery, Seasonal, and Activities.

Seasonal Triumphs

There are two triumphs that seem to be tied to the current season. From what we gather, it seems like these triumphs will get a refresh after a season.

Ritual of the Season In Ritual playlist activities, rapidly defeat 50 opponents with weapons matching the archetype of the current Seasonal Legendary weapon. Defeating Guardians grants more progress. Since the current Seasonal Legendary is a Rocket Launcher, we recommend using something like a Warcliff Coil to rack up kills in Strikes or Crucible.
Season’s Greetings Get a total of 500 final blows with this season’s Legendary quest weapon. You need to defeat 500 enemies with Ascendancy i.e., the Seasonal Legendary RL. We recommend loading into the Thrallway CP in The Shattered Throne and completing it there.

Activity Triumphs

These triumphs require the player to score kills in different activities, against certain enemy types, etc.

Weapon Flair Get 100 precision final blows and rapidly defeat combatants at point-blank range 5 times while using any weapon in Gambit. For this, we recommend a Hand Cannon for precision kills and a Shotgun/Fusion for point-blank multi-kills.
Weapon Focus In Nightfall strikes, accumulate 100 weapon final blows and 50 precision weapon final blows without dying. Launch a Nightfall on the lowest-possible difficulty and knock it out. Should not be too bad.
Three Birds, Three Stones In 5 Crucible matches, defeat opponents with a Kinetic weapon, an Energy weapon, and a Power weapon. Another self-explanatory triumph.
Dark Age Arsenal Win a Gambit match with a Gambit weapon equipped in every slot. For this, it is possible to quickly change the weapons before a match that you are winning. As for the weapons, things like Bad Omens, Trust, Bottom Dollar, Gnawing Hunger, Night Watch, etc. can be used.
Weapon Archivist Unlock weapon entries in your collection by acquiring weapons for the first time. This should be unlocked retroactively.
Sweet Spotter Defeat combatants with precision weapon damage by targeting their weak points.

  • Cabal Legionary: 25
  • Cabal Incendior: 5

Do note that the triumph is bugged as of right now. Bungie is currently working on a hotfix and hope to resolve it soon.
Munition Variety Pack Get 500 kills with Kinetic, 250 with Energy, and 100 with Power. Once again, pretty self-explanatory. Just play Destiny 2 a lot.
