How to Stay Warm in Valheim

The world of Valheim is as harsh as it can get, especially after players get to the Mountain biome. The snowy mountains and the freezing weather can lead to players freezing to their death unless they find something to keep them warm. This comes in the form of a campfire, the Frost Resistance Mead, and the Wolf Armor. In this guide, we’ve detailed everything there’s to know about how to get warm clothes in Valheim to prevent dying from freezing.

How to Get Warm Clothes in Valheim?

In order to stay warm in the freezing cold weather, players need to craft the Wolf Armor. The armor consists of two parts: chest and legs. To craft both of these things, players will need the following items:

40x Silver + 10x Wolf Pelt + 4x Wolf Fangs + 1x Chain

Wolf Armor in Valheim is easily one of the best armor. Once crafted and equipped, it provides the players with 75% block and +40 maximum damage. Thanks to its innate frost resistance, it can prove handy in boss fights against Moder. For players who’re still running around in Leather Armor and Iron Armor should definitely try and upgrade to the Wolf Armor.

Also, make sure to check out our Wolves Taming Guide that will help you domesticate wolves in the game to get resources like Raw Meat, Wolf Fangs, and Wolf Pelt that are needed to craft the Wolf Armor. However, players who aren’t stocked up on these materials need not worry as the Wolf Armor isn’t the only thing that prevents players from freezing to death.

There are other things like the Frost Resistance Mead and Campfire that can provide warmth to the players. Setting up a Campfire is as simple as it can get but the Frost Resistance Mead is another story. To brew the Frost Resistance Mead, players will first need to get the Frost Resistance Mead base. Once done, they’ll be able to make it using the Honey, Thistle, Bloodbag, and Greywarf Eye.

After acquiring all the materials, players will need to make the base in a Fermenter and then brew it in a Cauldron.

That’s all we’ve got in how to get warm clothes to prevent freezing from death in Valheim. For more help on the game, feel free to check out our detailed Valheim wiki guides.
