As the player progresses through the game, he/she continues to gain Moodles. It is crucial to get rid of these as early as possible because they continue to reduce the melee damage dealt by the player. But how does one reduce these? The answer is by sleeping. In this guide, we have detailed all there is to know about how to sleep in Project Zomboid.
Sleeping in Project Zomboid
Throughout the entirety of Project Zomboid, the player will come across beds, sofas, etc. inside houses and other areas. The player can simply sleep on these beds whenever tired.
However, do note that there is absolutely no need to go out in search of a bed whenever the character needs sleeping. The player can also sleep on the ground but it can have negative consequences and there are more chances of an attack. On top of that, sleeping on the ground does not provide a good sleep quality.
Sleeping in Project Zomboid will get rid of ‘Tired’ status that the player will acquire as he/she will progress through the game. If not done, it will lessen the player’s ability to fight in the game. Below, we have provided a complete list of Tired Moodles that are in the game:
- Drowsy: Decreases melee damage by -50.
- Tired: Decreases melee damage by -80.
- More Tired: Decreases melee damage by -90.
- Ridiculously Tired: Decreases melee damage by -95.
Lastly, do note that it can be hard to sleep while the character is in pain. In such a situation, it is better to take some painkillers and a sleeping pill.
