Selling the captured beasts in Hogwarts Legacy is a very good way to earn a lot of Galleons. The best thing about it is that you can easily do it as a side-hustle while progressing through the campaign. However, before you are able to do that, there are some pre-requisites that you will need to complete since you will not be able to capture them from the get-go.
Sell Beasts in Hogwarts Legacy
The first thing that you will need to do is to get the Nab-Sack from The Elf, The Nab-Sack, and The Loom since you need it to catch various beasts — it is a fairly simple quest that you should be able to complete at around Level 10. Once you have acquired the item, you should easily be able to capture various Magical Beasts scattered throughout the game. These include creatures like Unicorns, Puffskeins, etc.
Once you have captured a few beasts, you will need to head over to Brood and Peck in Hogsmeade in order to sell them. In order to find it, you will need to head over to the northwest edge of Hogsmeade. You should be able to use the North Hogsmeade Floo Flame. However, once you initially get there, you will find it closed — opening it requires you to complete the questline mentioned earlier.
Once you get to the shop, you will need to speak with Ellie Peck. In the Sell tab, you will see a complete list of all the beasts that you have captured so far. From there, simply select the beasts that you wish to sell and confirm the action.
Another thing that you need to know is that every captured beast sells for 120 Gold Galleons, regardless of rarity. If you are capturing a lot of beasts while you are progressing through the game, you should rapidly accumulate a lot of wealth to buy all your items, ingredients, gear, etc.
