In Ori and the Will of the Wisps, things are different from the Blind Forest. In the previous games, players were limited to as to when they are allowed to save the game. The Blind Forest didn’t have an auto-save feature but thanks, not the case in Ori and the Will of the Wisps. In our guide today we will explain how to save your game in Ori and the Will of the Wisps.
How to Save Game in Will of the Wisps
While things are different from the Blind Forest, you can still manually save your game. Head over to the Spirit Wells located around the map to access the manual save feature. They can only be accessed and seen on the map once you are able to discover them. You can press and hold the A button at the Spirit Wells to save the game.
As we mentioned above, the game also has an auto-save feature in Ori and the Will of the Wisps. The game usually autosaves when you enter a new area, complete a mission, or beat a boss fight. Whenever you see an O shape in the left bottom corner of the screen it indicates that Ori and the Will of the Wisps is auto-saving. These auto-saves act as checkpoints for when you die in-game. The game will start from your last manual or auto-saved point once you end up dead in Ori and the Will of the Wisps.
