Among Us: How to Sabotage Lights
Before we begin, it is important to note that if you are playing as a Crewmate there is no way to sabotage the lights. If you want to break the lights you must be the Imposter.
To sabotage lights in Among Us you need to go to Electrical and click on the lightning bolt icon. Keep in mind that you might have to wait for a cooldown if you recently sabotaged something else. There is a cooldown timer attached to the sabotaged mechanic in Among Us.
You can easily find lights in the Electrical section of the map. Lights can be identified by the lightning bolt. Once you turn off the lights most of the Crewmates will try to run toward Electrical which means you can plot your attack accordingly.
Depending on your settings you can sabotage lights as Imposter a few times per game. Once the lights go down the entire area becomes dark leaving only a cone of vision in front of the crewmates.
The only way to get the lights back up is to run toward Electrical and fix them via an Electrical task. You can use this to kill people as they move toward Electrical. Crewmates can not see beyond the cone of light, however, Imposters can see normally even in the dark.
