One of the keys to your success in Going Medieval is doing as much research as possible. The game has a unique research system that is different from other colony simulators out there. In this guide, we will discuss everything you need to know on how to research Going Medieval.

Going Medieval: How to Research

When you start off in Going Medieval you won’t have access to the research system in Going Medieval. You need to gather resources to build your first Basic Research Table.

To build the table go to the Production blueprint menu at the bottom left of the screen or you can press the F2 key. In this menu, you can find the Basic Research Table. Select it and place the blueprint somewhere; we suggest you do this somewhere inside.

The building will start once you have 60 Wood. One of the settlers of your colony will start to build the Basic Research Table. If you want the process to speed up you can increase its building priority.

And that’s everything you need to know on how to research in the game. Need more help? See how to cook, how to build the roof.
