Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: How to Pet a Dog
You can find these adoring and affectionate creatures even in all the blood and chaos of the Viking world. Dogs are present in almost all the inhabited areas on Valhalla’s map. You’ll even find some wandering around your settlement. If you get in their proximity or go close to them they’ll usually respond with a bark (not an angry growl) and some would even walk to you.
Once they’re standing close to you, petting them is pretty easy and simple. To pet a dog in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla press Y on Xbox, Triangle on PlayStation, and E in on PC; doing so will start a cut-scene in which Eivor pets the dog, ruffle its ears, and sometimes even gives it a short hug.
After you pet them, the dogs will further show their gratitude with some happy barks and will also follow you around for a while. It’s enough to take your mind off the gruesome storyline and put a smile on your face. You can also pet cats using this method.
And that’s all there is to petting a dog in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
