How to Make Friends in Deadside

Not everyone is your enemy in Deadside and often you can make friends. In this guide, we will explain how you can make friends in Deadside. It is a pretty simple process if you don’t get shot in the face.

How to Make Friends

When you see a player near your area you can go up to them and press the F key on your keyboard to add them to your squad. However, they need to accept the invitation first which is done by pressing the F5 on the keyboard. Once they accept you can see their Gamertag above the character model. Keep in mind that friendly fire is open at all times so you can still shoot them or they can kill you. Adding them to the squad just makes it easier to identify the other player.

If you leave the server you must rejoin the squad when you come back to the server. The teammates you have can active your base doors when in a squad when they are removed from the squad they lose the ability to activate the doors. If you want to leave a squad, open the map by pressing M, and at the top right corner, you will see a squad tab where you see the leave option. Since other players in your party can active doors to your base, we suggest that you don’t add random players to your party in Deadside. You can, but it’s not the best of ideas.

That’s how to add players to your party in Deadside. If you need more help with the game check out the Deadside Wiki.
