Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl: How to Make a Secret Base
The first step is to the Underground Man’s House in Eterna City. Head inside and speak with the old man. The location is right in the middle of the city.
After you are done speaking with the old man he will offer you the Explorer Kit. Head over to the Grand Underground area and head back to the old man to talk to him yet again. The old man will now ask you to help him dig up the treasure.
Now is the time to make your secret base.
Go back to the Underground area and keep an eye on the shining dots on the mini-map. Dig at these shiny spots and collect the treasure for the old man. Go back to him to get the Drilling Kit which is required to build the secret base.
Head over to the underground area again to set up your secret base. Choose the area you prefer and use the drilling kit near the walls to make the base.
