Ever since the rise of customization in Call of Duty games, developers were forced to add features that allow players to inspect their weapons. The inspect weapons feature lets you check out new skins and show off your customizations. The feature has made a return in Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War. In this quick guide, we will explain everything on how to inspect weapons in Black Ops Cold War.
Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War: How to Inspect Weapons
The inspect feature was last seen in Call of Duty Modern Warfare. And while you might be accustomed to doing it the same way as Modern Warfare, things work differently in Black Ops Cold War. Holding down the d-pad to inspect weapons doesn’t work anymore.
To inspect weapons in Black Ops Cold War press and hold left on the d-pad to open the emotes wheel and select “Flourish Weapon.” Once you leave the d-pad your character will Flourish aka inspect his weapons in Cold War. The animation is a bit more extensive this time around.
You can do this with all weapons in the game during all types of game modes. Make sure you don’t inspect weapons during a gunfight, otherwise you’ll probably be shot dead by the enemy. Inspect weapons at the very beginning of a match or when no other enemy is around.
And that’s all there is to inspecting weapons in Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War. If you need more assistance you can check out the Bowie Knife, and zombies mode guides. You can also visit our Black Ops Cold War Wiki where we regularly publish new content.
