In the work of Valheim comforts are few but you need to make sure your character is taken care of as much as possible. It is essential for your survival in Valheim. Valheim has a detailed Comfort system. In this guide, I will explain everything you need to know on how to increase comfort in Valheim.
Valheim Comfort System: How to Increase Comfort
To increase the comfort level in Valheim you need chairs, rugs, shelter, banners, and braziers. Make sure you build a shelter with walls and roof to protect your character from cold. You will also need to build a campfire to help with the cold weather.
Note: Make sure there is a gap in your roof or walls to let the campfire smoke out of the shelter. Smoke build-up can kill you.
All of these items are basics of comfort in Valheim but you can further boost your comfort by adding decorations. Use chairs, deer rugs, and braziers to give your shelter a nice, cozy feel. The more comfortable you are the better it is and it gets you closer to getting the Well-Rested buff every time you sleep.
The buff gives you 50% faster health regeneration and 100% faster stamina regeneration when active. If you max out the comfort level in Valheim the duration of this buff will increase. Every time you wake up you will get the buff for a longer period of time.
